Volastra is situated in the heart of Cinque Terre and it is only 2 Km from Manarola that may be easily reached by using the efficient ecologic shuttle bus service offered by the National Park. At Manarola you may arrive by TRAIN, by CAR or by using the large number of BOATS coming from La Spezia, Lerici, Portovenere, Portofino and Genoa. BY CAR To reach Volastra by car, the exit from the motorway is
La Spezia ( A15 motorway Parma-La Spezia or A12 motorway Genova - Livorno).
Once you are in town, follow the brown directions Cinque Terre and then take coast-road of Cinque Terre (SP370 road).
After 15 km, do not turn right down to Riomaggiore but follow until you get to the crossroad Manarola-Volastra.
There you should turn right and after two Km. you will reach Volastra. BY TRAIN
If you decide to come by train you should take La Spezia
as a reference for your destination. From La Spezia then, you may take a local train that stops
in Manarola. From Manarola there is a good shuttle bus service to Volastra
(see the enclosed time-table).
